Fix Broken Window Screen Frame
Window screens come in two materials aluminum and fiberglass.

The screen is held in place on the frame by means of a thin piece of plastic called a spline which pins the screen in place in a narrow channel. Wood frame window screens can shrink while vinyl frame or aluminum windows can warp and move causing the screen joints to loosen.

Fixing bent window screens isn t difficult and can be done quickly. Then cut a new screen out of mesh material to fit your frame and place it inside the frame. Because these screens are so lightweight they can bend resulting in an ill fitting screen that can no longer do its job. Its flexibility makes it the easiest to use.
